FarmVille at Facebook

Hello my friends. Just a while ago, my sister invited me to be her virtual neighbor in this game at Facebook called FarmVille. I already heared this game before because my friends are playing this too. Well you know, I get easily addicted to games that's why I did not accept my sister's invitation. But honestly, I am thinking now if I will make this game a part of my past time. Still thinking... LOL.

How about you my friends? Are you playing this game? Do you like it? What's the good thing about this game? Right now, I still need more information regarding this one before I will proceed in playing. I already saw that game being played by my sister and I think the interface looks nice although we did not yet fully explore the game since my sister is a new player also. So guys, what do you think? Should I play FarmVille?

Yeah its a nice game to try out.. Ive just started it like 3 or 4 days ago,.. to be honest it is quite boring right now..

You basically plow little pieces of land (as much as u want/can afford) then u plant seeds (also costs money, ex. strawberrys 10 coins..)

U plant the strawberries.. and then they take a certain amount of tiem to grow.. unfortunately this time is REALLL and strawberrys take 4 hours but other crops take 1 , 2 or 3 days to grow.. which leaves the player with nothing to do but stare at the screen

Once your crops have grown 100% u are allowed to harvest them and then they automatically sell for the selling price (which is alot more than you bought them for).. However, just like u i get addicted to games easily, and other games that are similiar to this, wud have like a MARKETPLACE where all the users are online can go LIVE and trade or sell things to each other.. that wud be MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH more fun than just automatically getting money..

The catch is, once ur crop has grown 100% if u are not online or do not harvest it, it will DIE and WHITHER away and u will not have gained money and also to remove the whithered plants from the soil u lose money and then again to plow the bad land it costs money... BAsically this is the game for ya

The game is still in Beta, so it is still getting things added to it. Presently, I prefer Farm Town and just rotate between this one, Farm Town and myfarm...all on Facebook. Farm Town has been around longer and so there is more you can do. I'd encourage you to try it.

I just started this with my daughter about 4 days ago and I am really enjoying it. I think the challenge is being able to expand your field without running out of money first and keeping your crops from spoiling by logging on several times a day. I have been gifted trees and animals and there is plenty to keep me busy just those things alone. Doing the math to figure out profit margins and which crops are the most cost effective is the challenge. I would like to see some changes, I do not like the option of using a credit card to pay for certain items for your farm. I stick with the items that I can buy with the coins and forego anything I would have to actually pay for. I also don't like that you can't expand unless you have alot of neighbors. I don't know anyone on Facebook except my daughter so I suppose our farms will be rather small, so be it. I think that if you have time to log onto Facebook and you want to take on the responsibility of milking a cow and harvesting every day, this is a nice way to pass the time.
